Bio

Hello! My name is Deonnah Weeden and I am a Resource teacher at Hanrahan Elementary School in Jennings, MO.  I have a passion for teaching and learning and believe that every child can learn and succeed! I work with students who need extra help in reading, writing, and mathematics. We will be using reading intervention strategies and guided reading groups to increase our reading skills.  For writing we will use the Six Traits of Writing, Step Up to Writing, and graphic organizers as we strengthen our writing skills.  Small group interventions and guided practice will help us to improve our math skills.
