I attended Lindenwood University and received my Bachelor's Degree with certification in Elementary Education in 2002.  I later received my Master's Degree from Lindenwood University (2010) with Special Reading Certification.  I currently am certified to teach elementary education grades 1-6 and special reading grades K-12 and have my Master's degree plus 45 additional hours in technology based instruction, gifted and special education.

This is my 14th year of teaching. I began my career as a substitute teacher for the Francis Howell School district.  I completed my student teaching in Francis Howell and Hazelwood School Districts.  I taught for 4 years for ACE Learning Centers.  While at ACE I was responsible for teaching middle and high school students in the alternative school setting.  After working at ACE I was presented with the awesome opportunity to work with the Jennings School District.  I have taught at Northview as well as Gary Gore Elementary grades 4 as well as 6th.

"Working Together, We Make a Difference!"

Hi Woodland family!  My name is Tanya Kollack and I am a teacher at Woodland Elementary School.  I am in my 14th year of teaching and my 11th year teaching with the Jennings School District.  I am from the St. Louis area and I graduated with my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education grades 1-6 from Lindenwood University.  I also earned my Master's of Arts from Lindenwood University with my special reading certification.

I live in Waterloo, Illinois with my husband, Brian and three sons, Bryce (11years), Brody (6 years) and Braxtyn (3 years).  We are a busy family as our children are involved in sports and many extra curricular activities.

In my free time, when I have some, I love to spend time with my family and on rare occasions spend time with friends.

I love teaching and can not wait to see what this school year brings for the students at Woodland Elementary School.
